I am a solo casual player and have stopped playing the game because I am tired of doing the same few things today that i could do 4 years ago. Nothing that CCP has done in 4 years has allowed me to set up new goals and work towards them, sandbox style.

...and yet i think that if EVE only got 450,000 subscribers between both TQ and SR, there is a ugly fact behind the PCU averages for both servers. CCP can't publicly admit it, but I think they could use some help, not from the people who love the game, but from the people who quit and will keep quitting until it dies of stagnation.
I also would love to see more options for interacting sandbox style.
The ability to directly attack other characters outside of flying in space is something that I would love to see. Also changes that would weaken the strength of NPC corps as a hiding place. And options that will create more interaction with nullsec; not full blown null harvesting but a reason for more small timers to venture out there. The Venture is a great move in that direction, I wish it had the ability to steal moon goo from harvesters and other ways to syphon ISK on a very small scale that would be significant for small time players.
Hacking as a fully developed micro profession with the ability to see into other players hangers and steal ISK in some way. And maybe long term maintenance requirements for ships, it could be automated via the station repair interface or it could be performed by qualified noctis pilots at a price set by them.
Options to get people interacting are very much needed in Eve. I like you will stop laying when I get to the point that my interactions with other players become repetitive and stale.
Subscription numbers and CCP revenue is something that the professionals can worry about. If they see a trend that they want to address or a type of gamer that they want to develop something for, then they can come here to get idea's. Or more likely "Features and Ideas" that is a lot easier to read through just because the trolling isn't such a big part of the convo.
But when end users and amateurs and players start throwing up soundbites and isolated data points, then making conclusions and threatening the end of a professionals livelihood. Well if I was a CCP guy I would just be irritated.
